AMBERLITE IRA95 is a macroreticular weak base anion exchange resin of the polystyrenic type, with a highly porous structure. AMBERLITE IRA95 is designed to be used in demineralisation of syrups in the sugar industry. AMBERLITE IRA95 is especially recommended in applications where isomerisation will be prevented, because of its small percentage of quaternary ammonium groups. Other applications include : demineralisation of gelatin, glycerine de-ashing, colour removal and demineralisation of lactic acid, glucose syrups and enzyme immobilisation. AMBERLITE IRA95 compositionally complies with the FDA 21 CFR 173.25 regulation in the U.S.A. and with the Council of Europe Resolution AP(97)1.
